A TOURIST ASSISTANCE CENTER IS NOW AVAILABLE AT BADIANGON WATERPARK!
In its turnover ceremony, DOT Regional Director Marie Elaine S. Unchuan highlighted the importance of inclusive tourism which is centered on addressing the needs of the people. The construction of a Tourist Assistance Center (TAC) by the DOT Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) in Badiangon Waterpark of Gingoog City aims to provide a better experience for tourists as it will house basic facilities and services tourist may need while they are on the road. The TAC will offer comfort rooms, rest areas, charging and WiFi stations, tourist information desks, and safe parking areas.
TIEZA COO Mark Lapid also sends his warmest greetings to the people of Gingoog City as they celebrate this year’s Kaliga Festival and emphasized the important role of tourism in the economy and communities. He encouraged everyone to take part in the recovery of the tourism industry especially post-pandemic.
Badiangon Waterpark is one of the most anticipated tourism projects in Gingoog City which will include a water playground, swimming pools, and a cold spring lagoon.
